Fire Rating and Certification Requirements
Confirm the required fire rating and certification according to the approved project documents and applicable local codes.
Do not leave this decision to the supplier. Also make sure the quoted product configuration matches the confirmed certification requirements.
Door Dimensions
Clearly confirm:
- Width × height
- Door leaf size, frame size, or rough opening size
- Individual leaf widths for double doors
A dimension such as 900 × 2100 mm is not enough unless everyone understands what it refers to.
Door and Frame Configuration
Confirm:
- Single or double door
- Door leaf only or door + frame
- Opening direction
- Frame requirements
- Wall thickness or wall construction, if required for the frame
For double doors, also confirm how the total width is divided between the two leaves.
Hardware and Glazing
Confirm all required hardware, such as:
